Mission Statement
At Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church our mission is to bring people to Jesus and membership in His family; build them in Christ like maturity; equip them for their ministry in the church and life mission in the world (the market place) in order to magnify the name of Christ.

To develop generationally minded Christians who live passionately to shape the culture for God’s glory.
Our Purpose Statement
Why We Exist As a Church?
The purpose of our church is summarized in a single sentence and based on two key scriptures:
“A GREAT COMMITMENT TO THE GREAT COMMANDMENT AND THE GREAT COMMISSION WILL GROW A GREAT CHURCH!”
The purposes of our church are also highlighted in these two statements of Jesus.
Matthew 22:36-40
The Great Commandment: “Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Matthew 28:19-20
The Great Commission: “Jesus said, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to do everything I have commanded you.”
• To “Love God with all your heart” is “WORSHIP.”
• To “Go...make disciples” is “EVANGELISM.”
• To “baptize...” is to “incorporate into FELLOWSHIP.”
• To “teach them to do” is “DISCIPLESHIP.”
• To “Love your neighbor as yourself” is “MINISTRY.”
