We recommend that all foods excluded from the fast be removed from your diet no later than December 27, 2011. This gives us time to enjoy a Christmas meal but it also gives us time to mentally, spiritually, and physically prepare for the fast.  The common temptation is to wait until the last moment (December 31st) to get ready. We want to enter “Day 1” of the fast focused and attentive unto God’s instructions for our personal life, family & church. This way we enter as a united family.
