Destiny's Motorcycle Ministry (Men & Women)

Purpose of the Ministry: To have fun while riding safely.

Mission Statement:

REACH out to other motorcyclists to bring them to Christ; CONNECT them to an authentic, Christ-centered community of bikers; help them GROW in their walk with Christ; HONOR Christ as we provide an atmosphere that inspires people to cultivate their purpose-driven passion to ride

  • D – Are diligent disciples of the Word and     reproduce Christian disciples

Destiny Disciples - Qualifications

  1. Must be a member of DMWC and have completed Church On Purpose
  2. Must own a motorcycle or ride with a member that owns a motorcycle
  3. Must have a Class M endorsement on your license
  4. Must maintain the proper motorcycle insurance…
  5. Must have completed a motorcycle safety course
  6. Must attend 5 Biker Events and wear a all white Tee-Shirt that displays “Prospect”
Events can include: Charity Rides, Bike Washes, Cook Outs, Meet and Greets,  and Biker Anniversary Parties

Events Coordinator – Patricia Echols (Bird)
Identify bike rides and events

Road Captain – Dee Brundidge (D Nyce)
Ensure safe rides to destinations

Treasurer  – Tanisha Pollard (Feisty)
Keep account of all dues and financial transactions

Sgt. At Arms – Mike Young (Sir Chase)
Maintains order

Womens Leader – Sharron Lanaux (Dimples)

Ministry Cost

  • Leather Apparel – Self purchased  (Vest, Jackets)
  • Shirts – Provided through dues, fund raisings, etc
  • Patch – Provided by Ministry and recovered on request
  • Recovered if the member leaves  ministry or Destiny
  • Dues - $10.00 per month per member
  • Fines - TBD
