A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

Jesus spoke to his disciples saying,
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Who is a disciple?
One who accepts Jesus Christ, as Lord and personal Savior, accept His gift of salvation and shares the good news of Christ with others.

God is doing something special here at Destiny as is evident in the tremendous growth we are experiencing. It is obvious that lives are being changed.

We are ordinary people empowered by God to make a difference together wherever we are. The mission team is here to help you discover great ways that you can share your faith both locally and globally.

Our Team’s Purpose is to equip Destiny members for their life mission in their communities, on their jobs and in the world. To create innovative outreach ministries and events, and to partner with other ministries to organize “whatever it takes” to reach our communities and the world for Jesus Christ.

Our Vision is to effectively shape the culture of Destiny through the P.E.A.C.E plan in such a way that the purpose of evangelism becomes valued and lived out at every level and within every small group and ministry throughout the body.

As the director of Missions here at Destiny, I welcome you to explore and become a part of the Missions Team. We were all made for mission. We are saved to serve and made to go out and spread the Good News of Christ Jesus.
Regardless of how much we may do for an individual, how much time and money we may spend, we will have utterly failed if we neglect to emphasize the absolute necessity of a right relationship with God through a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

As you view this web page, I hope that you will sense that the Gospel stands preeminent in our ministry.
